Shasta is an invitational event for the most serious musicians of all ages and levels of skill. It is a small, intimate experience, and we work diligently to ensure that our limited space is made available to the musicians best suited to benefit from the experience and those who will enjoy the spirit and camaraderie of the camp. Returning participants are given first priority for the camp's limited spaces. Registration will open in May, with email notification to previous campers. After return registration, first time participants will be considered.
If you are a new student interested in attending, please email mp3s of your playing and a page of text about your music, interests, background and why you want to attend the camp. This helps us know how you might best fit into the class schedule, and if the camp is right for you. If you would like a family member (of any age) to attend with you, please have them write us a bit about themselves as well. We will send you an invitation to participate in this year's camp as soon as space becomes available. Due to cancellations, spaces may open up from mid May to the week before camp.
